Primavera 2024 – Trekking in Nepal
Trekking nella valle del Khumbu all’ombra di numerosi
ottomila.
Dormiremo in lodge (rifugi) dove mangeremo cena buona e abbondante ma monotona ed avremo modo di essere a contatto con la cultura locale.
Un viaggio tra montagne e cultura.
Voleremo per Kathamandu, la capitale, da Malpensa. Organizzeremo auto da lasciare in parcheggio nei pressi dell’aeroporto
Date presunte (in funzione dei giorni dei voli):
Partenza tra il 28 marzo ed il 3 aprile
Rientro tra il 14 ed il 20 aprile
Programma definitivo:
1^g Malpensa – Kathamandu
2^g Kathamandu visita alla città ed eventuali acquisti di materiale mancante. Avvicinamento in auto all’aeroporto.
3^g volo per Lukla q.2840 mt. da dove partiremo in treking per Phakding, q. 2610 mt.
Percorso di circa tre ore non impegnativo attraversando campagne coltivate a cereali ed alberi da frutta
4^g Phakding q.2610 mt. – Nanche Bazar q.3440 mt.. h.6 circa.
Namche, la capitale della valle, villaggio popoloso con tanti negozi e lodge.
Attraverseremo numerosi ponti tibetani ed entreremo nel parco nazionale del Sagarmantha, Everest in nepalese. dove avremo il controllo dei permessi.
5^g Sosta a Namche e acclimatamento. Con calma saliremo intorno ai 4000 mt, visitando il villaggio e il monastero.
6^g Nanche Bazar q. 3440 mt. – Tengboche q.3860 mt., h.6/7 circa.
Villaggio con uno dei più belli ed importanti monasteri della valle. Se avremo fortuna assisteremo a qualche funzione religiosa.
7^g Tengboche q.3860 mt – Dingboche q.4410 mt , h.6 circa.
Lunga camminata su un altopiano e attraversando una foresta di rododendri fioriti.
8^g Dingboche q.4410 mt acclimatamento
Saliremo al Chhukhung 4730 mt per poi riscendere al villaggio.
9^g Dingboche q.4410 mt. – Lobuche q.4910 mt., h.6 circa
Ultimo presidio di umanità prima delle alte quote. Se non siamo stanchi, nel pomeriggio potremo visitare la piramide del CNR a 30mn. circa di distanza dalla lodge.
10^g Lobuche q.4910 mt – Kala Pattar q. 5550 mt – Periche q.4240 mt., h.8/9 circa
La giornata più lunga del trek ma la più entusiasmante del percorso. In punta vista sull’Everest Pumori Nupse Lotse. Poi lunga discesa fino a Periche, sede dell’ ospedale di alta quota.
11^g Periche q. 4240 mt. – Tengboche q.3860 mt., h.5/6 circa
12^g Tengboche q.3860 mt. – Khuniung q.3760 mt, h.4/5 circa
Villaggio simbolo dell’etnia Sherpa. Centro scolastico della valle con numerosi negozi e pasticcerie. Ospita un interessante monastero e fervente vita di paese.
13^g Khuniung q.3760 mt. – Thame q.3750 mt., h.5 circa
Interessante monastero a monte del villaggio
!4^g Thame q3750 mt. – Phakding q.2610 mt., h.6 circa
Siamo vicini a Lukla e siamo ritornati in mezzo alle colture agricole.
15^g Phakding q. 2610 mt. – Lukla q.2840 mt., h.5/6 circa
Giunti all’aeroporto faremo i bagagli saluteremo i portatori cena finale in quota e il mattino successivo rientro a KTM.
!5^g Volo di rientro e auto in KTM. Cena in ristorante del centro.
16^ e 17^ gg Visita a KTM e dintorni
18^g rientro in ITALIA

ASSICURAZIONE PERSONALE
ognuno di noi ha la propria assicurazione, se non ne fosse in possesso conviene averla anche solo per questo viaggio. I costi di un eventuale soccorso in montagna si aggirano intorno ai 5000 dollari, tra prelievo dell’infortunato in elicottero e 4 / 5 gg di ospedalizzazione.
